BNVS Chengdu, the first BNVS replicated school was established in May 2009 —one year after the Wenchuan earthquake, with the support from China Communist Youth League Sichuan Committee, China Youth Development Foundation, Sichuan Youth Development Foundation, and Narada Foundation. It strives to help the youth affected by the earthquake and local underprivileged young people to receive formal all-free vocational education.
